Portable Batch Laser Barcode Scanner with 3-key Input

The OPL9724, a portable batch laser scanner from Opticon, features Bluetooth communication for quick data-transfer to Bluetooth-enabled host devices, a display and 3-key keypad for easy navigation. The OPL9724 is ideal for retail, logistics or warehousing applications.  Since the OPL9724 is a programmable scanner, solution providers can develop custom scanning applications using Opticon’s free OPL9724 SDK.

The OPL9724 stores data onboard for later transfer via IrDA through a charging cradle (sold separately.) The charging cradle is available with a serial, modem or GSM interface. OPL9724 product highlights include:

Quick Connect Codes

For an alternative to the traditional discovery/pairing method, scan the Quick Connect Code with your OPL9724 and the OPL9724 will proactively seek out the host and try to establish pairing.  The host device will display a message asking you if you want to accept the incoming connection.

 

OPL9724 SDK

Opticon provides a SDK for the OPL9724 called the C Library Kit. The compiler, SDK, files, sample code and examples are included.  Applications are written in C. The Toshiba ANSI C cross compiler must be purchased separately. Download OPL9724 SDK.
