The OPL9714, a portable batch laser scanner with GPS and a real-time clock from Opticon, is ideal for data-capture applications that require location and datestamp information. This batch scanner is programmable making it easy for data-capture solution providers to create custom retail, inventory or warehousing barcode scanning applications.

The OPL9714 stores data onboard for later transfer via IrDA through a charging cradle (sold separately.) The charging cradle is available with a serial, modem or GSM interface. OPL9714 product highlights include:

Software Development Kit (SDK)

Opticon provides a free SDK for the OPL9714 called the C Library Kit. The compiler, SDK, files, sample code and examples are included.  Applications are written in C and compiled with the WInARM GCC project. Download OPL9714 SDK
